I'm going to jump in and 2nd what Hein said, and add that I am working with a couple customers that are gearing up to deploy ACMS on Integrity, now that it (and Rdb) are becoming available.

Also, I assume there is an error of some sort in this sentence: "If so what is it called, what version of HP-UX do I need to be running, can I port directly to an Itanium running OpenVMS?"

To All,

Please forgive the bandwidth, cross-posting to HP-UX general as well, but the question has come up, is HP going to have an equivalent product to ACMS on HP-UX? If so what is it called, what version of HP-UX do I need to be running, can I port directly to an Itanium running OpenVMS?

Inquiring minds want to know?

TIA,

Chuck Ciesinski

On HPUX you'd look at Tuxedo or maybe RTR for specific solutions.

But why not simply go ACMS on OpenVMS 8.2-1 on Integrity?

ACMS including TP Web & TP Desktop Connectors Available H1 2006. Pretty much now. It is still modestly moving forwards (like real external authorization: LDAP ACME, Kerberos ACME with VMS 8.3).
Any particular screen manager needed? DECforms will be there and it looks like TDMS will follow soon (surprise!).

hth,
Hein.

Chuck,

I am part of a team that is working with a number of ACMS customers on modernization and integration efforts. Feel free to contact me if you would like to chat further about the options available to you for your ACMS application (and there are quite a few, depeding on what your needs are).

Brad McCusker

Hi Brad,

I am trying to call ACMSDI.DLL methods in C#.net. Currently, We are using ACMSDI.DLL in VB6 application. We are trying to migrate from VB6 to C#.Net. Could you please give your valuable suggestion on it, can we use ACMSDI dll in .Net or not.
