AlphaServer ES47 7/1000
OpenVMS V7.3-2

We ae having an issue at about the same time every quarter , where a process CAPOLY$PNGO goes into a state where it takes up 70-90%CPU and has a buffered I/O rate of over 100,000. If not stopped the system freezes and we need to reboot. My questions are:

1) what does this process do?
2) Has anyone else seen this issue?
