    <description>Even worrse. We once had that error with an MSL directly connected to a GS160. A new drive was to0m replace the old one. The wrong type of drive was delivered so we put the original back in. It worked again.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Wim (tape+printers -&amp;gt; space shutle -&amp;gt; the Sun)</description>

      <description>I get this error whenever I try to mount the tape drive :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;$:&amp;gt; mou/for $2$MGA1:&lt;BR /&gt;%MOUNT-F-DRVERR, fatal drive error&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Even if the drive id offline I get this error.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any idea what can resolve the issue ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks</description>

      <description>Tried IO Auto and swapped the drives...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Making things worse after swapping....&lt;BR /&gt;Rebooted tape library several times...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any other way to get rid of the error without rebooting...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks</description>

      <description>This is a Fibre Channel tape. You need to follow the guidelines for Fibre Channel Tape Support:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://h71000.www7.hp.com/doc/82final/6318/6318pro_010.html#fctapes" target="_blank"&gt;http://h71000.www7.hp.com/doc/82final/6318/6318pro_010.html#fctapes&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can't just switch tapes and expect it to work...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Volker.</description>
