Eberhard,

thanks for the hint. As the driver handles are assigned dynamically (AFAIK), can you tell which driver is addressed here?

cu,

Martin

Hi!

Using an rx2660 with VGA console and USB-attached mouse and keyboard, and booting from the OS DVD, is there a way to tell the system the attached keyboard has a German layout?

I know that DECwindows can be configured to respect the German layout - but when booting from the DVD, there's no X server running.
And neither serial terminal (emulator) nor iLO network attached...

TIA,

Martin

Under EFI: drvcfg -s 23 3C (this is true for a rx2600). The numbers can be different in your case.

Eberhard

OK, found it. Driver handle 23 is the 'Usb Keyboard Driver', and doesn't need a controller handle (if you have only one keyboard attached, I suppose), so "drvcfg -s 23" brings up the language selection.
