Not having any luck with deleting a volume, I have shifted to nuking the whole configuration.
iLORest > factoryresetcontroller
Error: --storageid option is mandatory for iLO6 along with --controller option.
factoryresetcontroller --storageid=DE040000 --controller=0
Error: Invalid command
--reset_type and --storageid is required
factoryresetcontroller --storageid=DE040000 --controller=0 --reset_type='foo'
Error: --controller is not supported in iLO6
factoryresetcontroller --storageid=DE040000 --reset_type='thisisnotdocumented'
ERROR: 'Actions'

I am referencing this which does not correspond to the current command:

I cannot find any reference to "reset_type" anywhere. What should this be?
Is there more current documentation for ilorest 5.0.0. than the URL above?

I am using ILO 6.

As pe the same document, you can mention the 'ResetType' as follows-

"ResetType": "ForceOn"

Please check will the below command will help you to reinitialize the drive-

ilorest > drivesanitize 1I:1:1 --controller=1 --storageid=DE00900 --mediatype="HDD" --drivereset </span> DriveReset path and payload: /redfish/v1/Systems/1/Storage/DE00A000/Drives/8/Actions/Drive.Reset, {"ResetType": "ForceOn"}

This is the command to clear the controller configuration-

ilorest > clearcontrollerconfig --controller=1 One or more properties were changed an will not take effect until system is reset.

So I see that the documentation page does not correspond to the help diagnostics from ilorest 5.0.0.

"ResetType" versus "reset_type"

It is unusual that help from a program itself is less congruent than a web page.

Any thoughts on my deletevolume issue?
