Issue: I can't talk to the card with HPONCFG, and locked out by not knowing the password when pressing F8.

Help Wanted: How can I reset the card physically? Is there a jumper or something on the Riloe ii?

Confused: RILOE II does not have an F8 password. It does have tha ability to hide the F8 prompt.

What is the nature of the problem with HPONCFG? This normally would be a good way to work this issue.

Are you sure this is RILOE II or is this iLO? In iLO systems, there is an "iLO Security Override Switch" documented on the hood sticker. With power removed, set this switch, and then power up. You will have full access to all iLO configuration then. Make sure you power-off then restore the switch when you are done.

If it is RILOE II, you can set both jumper 3 and 4 in SW2 as shown in the figure attached. This will reset the RILOE II to factory default.
