Hello, for security reason I have changed the default port number of my iLo2 (Proliant DL380G5).

After that if I want to use Integrated Remote Console (IRC) a error message appear "Failed to connect to server. Check for avalaible telnet connection."
If I change back only the telnet port number it's work fine.

What wrong ? I can't change the telnet port number ? it's a bug.

P.S. The Java console work perfectly with the changed port number.

Hi Menu,

HP Integrated Lights-Out 2 (iLO 2) Integrated Remote Console (IRC) will not connect through a firewall that is using Network Address Translation (NAT). This occurs because the IRC incorrectly determines the IP address of the server when the server is located behind a firewall using NAT.

This does not affect the standard Java-based Remote Console application or the IRC when not traversing a firewall.

A future Integrated Lights-Out 2 (iLO 2) firmware version will allow the Integrated Remote Console (IRC) to connect through a firewall that is using Network Address Translation (NAT). Until the firmware is available, use the standard Java-based Remote Console application.

Regards,
Raj.
