DHCP leasing failing in ILO (onboard ILO) on DL380 G3

Having issues with some servers (of the exact same H/W) being served DHCP to onboard ILO on DL380 G3. Same port and H/W as other server with no issue and yet no addressed is served.
Can it be a possible temp issue? These servers were in a truck in the bitter cold for quite some time.

Best to check at the DHCP server to see if the request is processed and any leases are available.

You may also want to consider a static IP to see if that gets these iLOs onto the network.

That is the standard solution many are using but we would like toget some resolution opn why it does not function well always. MOST use static now to get by the seemingly intermittent and random nature of DHCP capabilities in ILO (both "1" and 2)

What DHCP server are you using? You may want to open a support case with HP.
