Hi,

I have an ilo card on a DL580 G2 server with advanced package. According to the hp site this should support virtual media.
I logged in into the ilo by web and connected to the virtual media to the Floppy drive. This should enable the local drive on my machine and after i reset the server this should be booted by my local floppy which is on my client machine. But this is not happening, it tryed it also with the cdrom.

Virtual floppy is working if i added a image, but i want the virtual media to work. Please help!

Also the virtual floppy is not loaded on to the iLO chip, it runs across the network from YOUR pc so you must leave the Virtual Floppy window open at all times....
Maybe with iLO two they will give it a decent ammount of memory so you can flush a VF to the iLO in full...
Hope this helps,

now firmware 1.41 is installed, this should support virual media, so i wander if firmware 1.50 will solve this problem. I will try it today.
