You may be going thru a proxy. In your browser, click on Tools-> Internet Options. Click on the Connections tab, then LAN Settings. Uncheck the 'Use a proxy server' or click on the Advanced button, and input the RILOE II DNS name or ip address in the Exceptions field.

Anybody figured out how to use proxy and still get access to the remote console without having to type in again the Login Name and Password?

Thanks for the reply.

Perhaps I was not that clear.

In our environment, normal users have to use proxy and they cannot configure exceptions. The proxy configuration is automatically configured when they log on to the domain and they are greyed out.

Don't get me wrong. We are still able to login to the remote console but after having to key in the Login Name and Password. I know that if I use a direct connection (no proxy) I can connect to the remote console without having to key in the User/Passwd again.

Was wondering if there is anything I can do on the proxy side or RILOE to make our life easier?
