I need to install into ILO a certificate from our corporate third party CA. In order to retrieve the certificate I need to include the Reference Number in the Certificate Request.

ILO only lets me include the host name as far as I can tell. Is there any way to add CN=123456 to the request either using ILO or by modifying the Certificate Request after ILO creates it?

Yes I saw that about the short name in the other thread. I have no problem with that. My issue is that I need to somehow jam a reference number into the Certificate Request that ILO generates so that I can get the signed certificate back from the CA.

So I am looking for a solution that would leave the host name as is, but allow me to add CN=xxxxxx into the CSR (where xxxxxx is a number that I get from the issuer of the CA).
