topic RILOE V1 Computer Name in Server Management - Remote Server Management

We have rebuilt a DL380G2 server using a new name. Now when I connect to the RILOE it is pulling the old server name. I have tried replacing the RILOE, but that did not work.

I have also noticed that the RILOE is not displayed under the Management Processor area of the System Management Homepage even though it is listed as an active agent in the control panel.

I am pretty sure it is something easy that I am missing.

Any help would be appreciated.

MToddC

It sounds as if you are not running the host OS driver and management agents on this system.

The ProLiant support software CD is a free download from the SmartStart site... The ProLiant Support Pack (PSP) contains the RILOE II driver.

I forgot to mention that I am running the HP Support Pack 7.4 on the server.

By the way, the management processor is also not showing on the System Management Homepage.

MToddC
