I'm aware that the HPONCFG.exe tool is used to reset the password on RILOE II and ILO, but I have a RILOE I.

I have the RIB.cpl tool and have put a username and password into it several times and rebooted the server each time, but the browser login to the RILOE always fails.

Is there another way to remotely reset the username and password for a RILOE I?

Unfortunately I already have tried RIB.cpl. I've tried adding various users with it but none work. And yes after adding the users I rebooted the server (trying to reset the RIB says the server must be rebooted).
I tried getting the smartstart tooki to get the CPQLODOS tool, but all 3 versions I've downloaded, 1.4, 1.7, and 1.8 don't include it so I'm stumped thee.

If you are looking for CPQLODOS.EXE, download the DOS version of Smartstart toolkit here -> ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/softpaq/sp29001-29500/sp29052.exe

God Bless!
LC...
