ILO LIcence - Gathering information

Hi all,

I need to gather all the licence keys for my ILo's, I know using the CPQLOCFG.exe Licence script i can add licences, is there a way of gathering ILO licence information from my servers. I want to put the information into a file for disaster recovery.

Thanks for coming back so soon.

I need to automate this information gathering. I've tried using the web based gathering, that was great. In Insight it talk's about having to use SSH to gather the information. Do I need to go to each server to add an SSH key in order for it to get the info ??

Why did HP drop the automatic gathering of ILO information.. seems a strange one ???

Hi,
You just need to have SSH enabled in the iLO. No need to drop key on all these.
For communicating with iLO SIM needs user credential for iLO. So select the iLOs which have common credentials and then give credentials from Options-> Protocol Settings -> System Protocol Setting, here give the credentials in SSH credentials field.
Go back to License Manager and collect License it will communicate to iLO and fetch License information.
