I have tried the java update and still get the same error. As for the firmware I wont have a chance to try that until I am on site at some point.
At least in the mean time if needed I can access another rpc on the lan remotely and use kvm link that way
Thanks for your time
Terry

I have installed the above on a lan behind a netgear router.
I open various ports on the firewall that I found listed on the forums.
I get the web interface fine but when running the java kvm link which works fine on the lan after a time i get an error on the client pc refering to a java error and time out.
In the end i put the server in a dmz and still had the same problem.
Any info welcome

hi

I don't know if that server has latest firmware for 100c anyway this is the link

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=3683705&swItem=MTX-c347fc6b336e405ebd1ccb0160&prodNameId=3683706&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&taskId=135&mode=3

also I was checking my java version and it is 1.5_12 which I don't have any problems using either firefox 3 - IE 6

so my recommendation uninstall your current java, reboot and install this version - you must unistall and reboot to avoid conflicts having 2 java versions

http://www.usnhgateway.org/jre/jre15012.exe

try and let us know

regards
