Error: Unable to establish LAN session

Hi All,
I am unable to establish external LAN connection from local host machine to external BMC machine. Even though BMC was configured properly.

1) Unable to ping this BMC IP locally or remotely.

2) Is the BMC shares an on-motherboard Ethernet port?,
a) Even on same subnet also it is not pinging.

3) Is the Main power supply shares to host and BMC card?
a) If both have separate supply and host supply is off state (down), why the BMC IP is not pinging?

Let me know your suggestion.

What management processor are you trying to address? If iLO2, there is no IPMI over LAN functionality, only localhost KCS interface. If you want to connect to iLO2 over the network, use SSH and the industry-standard SMASH command line protocol.
