Hi,

The platform we are working with is ESX4 (vSphere 4.0) and we can't get the hponcfg and agents installed.

(1) We uninstalled all agents

(2) We installed hp-ilo-8.3.0-118.rhel4.i386.rpm = "HP ProLiant Channel Interface Device Driver for iLO / iLO 2 for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 (x86)"

(3) When installing the HP Agents version 8.2.5 (http://bit.ly/laZNW) the installation fails with the following error in the log (see attached). Any suggestions or thoughts?

Individual rpm installation is not supported on ESX 4.0. IM agents v8.2.5 is delivered in VIB format. Looks like you are is mixing v8.2.5 and v8.3.0 agents.
