iLo 2 FW 1.77 remote console?

I'm trying to find out if FW version 1.77 allows a remote console session to be opened through the CLI. In older versions of FW you could enter /system1/console1/start and it would begin a remote console session. My customer currently blocks telnet to the server so the RC through the web interface will not work...I used to get around this issue by starting the RC through the CLI...any ideas would be great! t

What you are looking for is REMCONS, which as far as I know is not available anymore in iLO2. It is now recommended to use the Virtual Serial Port (VSP) feature.

I'm not sure exactly when it changed with iLO2, but the command is now "texcons" In the original iLO it was called REMCONS.

This feature requires the System ROM also supports the feature, which I think the current shipping systems with iLO2 are supported. Older iLO2 systems will probably need a system ROM upgrade.

The feature also requires the Advanced Pack license.
