Restore iLO - CMD Line

We just started building blades with Server 2008 R2 and when we configure the iLO we use the command line:

C:\Program Files\HP\hpconfg.exe /f c:\temp\bl460g6.xml.

We get the following error:

Status = 0x1
Message = Syntax error: Line #2: syntax error near "?" in the line "?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?">"

The xml file works fine in a Server 2003 build but not in Server 2008 R2.

Any ideas?

Hi.

Looks like your missing a "<" in the begining of the line but then it would sound very weird that it's working in 2003.

The only thing i can think of is if the version of hponcfg you are using is not supported with 2008 R2. Try using a newer version.

Or that 2008 R2 has some issue with XML version 1.0. See if HP has released some new example scripts.
