topic iLO3 invalid session key in Server Management - Remote Server Management

Dear all,

trying to use the virtual media applet in iLO 3, it is appearing the following error:
Invalid session key

I read some info on HP, and it says it requires advanced licensing to use this feature. But here local support doesn´t know anything about this error (I assume we use all iLO 2 interfaces, not 3)

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

regards,
Claudio

Looks like something got timed out. Close down your browser, and bring up a new browser. This problem seem to be gone with 1.15.

Hi Claudio,

what is the ILO firmware version? session timeout issues are addressed in later ILO firmware.

best way to terminate the existing sessions is to power cycle the server (removing all the cables including ILO network and Power)

relaunch the ILO and check

thanks,
aftab
