So to confirm there is no way to do this except via a script. I was hoping for a previous example of someone having had to do this task in the past.

For example: http://blog.netnerds.net/2006/04/ribcl-reset-administrator-password-on-ilo/

However i need multiple server password reset and am not particularly clear on the format of the text.

We need to change the ILO passwords on all 300 Intel servers. This is because of a security transition between vendors at one of my client's sites, which we have taken ownership of.

How can i do this on multiple servers without having to log into each one? I know little of HPSIM etc and would prefer not to have to invoke any complex scripting.

If someone could assist with a step by step overview it would be greatly appreciated. I've read of some of the HP Config utilities but as i say i'm needing some guidance on how to save time without logging into 300 servers manually.

Note: We do not have the existing iLO Password details.

Many thanks

Use HPONCFG if you have access to the host OS of the subject servers.
