Is there any way of changing the security switch for ilo through software ?

No, it's a physical switch, not a "soft" one. If you have access to the OS and are trying to reset security on your iLO, you can use HPONCFG to change the configuration.

Thanks for the feedback , sorry to sound dumb but i have only just started using ilo.
How would i configre it with hponcfg ?
