      <description>ok... that's what i thought, too.... but the hp chat said, that i have to restart the blade after the update... so, what are you're experiences on that?</description>

      <description>You can update offline using the firmware DVD or online directly from the OS or with the extracted *.bin file from the iLO web page. In each case the iLO restarts, the blade can continue.</description>

      <description>Never done, but I think so.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;At least some hardware also supports update via Smart update manager.</description>

      <description>the bin file is inside the cp01xxxx.exe file you need to extract it&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;as for the update search for "update ilo ALL" in the OA command line interface manual. It will do an entire enclosure of ilo in 10 minutes. I just did 10 new blades before they were even powered up</description>
