iLo with KVM

We have an avocent KVM. When a server is connected to the KVM the iLO does not work. When it is disconnected fromthe KVM everything works fine

Any ideas?

What version of iLO firmware are you using? Could you describe the iLO problem? Does Remote console not work, or is there something more sinister?

The firmware version is 1.2

The problem is when the server is connected to the KVM switch you are unable to start any remote consoles.

There is an avocent firmware update to fix this problem.

I would strongly suggest you upgrade to iLO 1.6x. v1.2 is extremely old.

It all now works. I tried it on a machine with the iLo on v1.2 and it works fine.

The fix indeed must of been to upgrade the firmware on the Avocent
