topic NVRAM write/read/verify in Server Management - Remote Server Management

On the HP System Management Homepage on a Domain Controller, the NVRAM write/read/verify test on the RILOE (part of the self-test) has failed.
I see elsewhere on this forum that it can be caused by firmware upgrades, however my firmware has not been upgraded (version 1.21)

Any idea if shutting down the DC and removing the RILOE power before restarting is an effective fix-all for this issue? It's not easy for my customer to arrange this so I want to be sure it works before suggesting it. Or any better solutions?

I believe you just need to reboot RILOE.

Log in to RILOE webpage, go to Network settings and without doing any change to the settings, press "Apply" button. RILOE will reboot after that.
Updating the RILOE firmware will also result in a reset.

1. Checked firmware - it was up to date
2. Reset RILOE on Management Homepage - no success
3. Reinstalled firmware - error was solved.
