topic combine iLO 2 from several servers in Server Management - Remote Server Management

Is it possible to combine iLO 2 remote consoles in one interface? Our Onboard Administrator for our Blade Center has one page that shows all blades in the enclosure and allows you to choose any blade then remote into them. Can iLO 2 interfaces from other remote servers be added to the OA, or is there another product that would allow us to access these iLOs from one interface?

Hi,

you can "integrate" other ilo2s to OA, only if they are c-class Blades's iLOs and you have linked the onboard administrators of the enclosures.

Like Raghuarch says, you can use HP SIM to access all ilos you want to from a single console

For best practices and tips below in your environment:

Leveraging single sign-on, HP SIM 5.1 also allows group actions with iLO 2 virtual power and virtual UID from the SIM menu. Now authorized users can control the power and UID of multiple servers by simply selecting the servers and clicking on the desired action in the HP SIM menu. HP SIM and iLO 2 use the new WS Management standard to enable this feature.

http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/ilobest-practice.html
