iLO Configuration Utility: unhandled exception

I installed the iLO 3.1 configuration utility with CP012903.exe on my Windows 2008 R2 64-bit server.

After doing so, I can't run the utility; after startup, it gives an "Unhandled exception" error saying "Acces to the path 'C:\program files\HP\hpconfg\xmlOutput7_6_2010_7_44_47_AM104.txt' is denied".

How do I fix this?

Found the solution: shift-right click on the icon and choose "Run as administrator"

I ran into same issue and work around is "run as admin".

So is this .NET, GUID, or firmware issue?

What is the perm fix?

Yes I spoke with HP and they told me that upgrading the firmware the issue should be resolved
