Proliant DL Ilo advanced licensing

We have a couple of 1000 servers. We are using cpqlocfg and scripts to configure all the Ilo management processors. We are going to use a couple of scripts. So this is going to take some time...

All the Ilo mp's we have, have advanced capabilities, that have to be activated.

To speed things up a little bit. Is it possible to use the same (advanced) license key for all the Ilo mp's ????

Or do you have to use the specific keys for the specific Ilo mp's. Since the Ilo's don't communicate with each other I thought this might be an option.

Anyone who kn0ows ??

It depends on the kind of license you purchased. There is a single kit license, flexible quantity license and something called an application key agreement. The last 2 both provide a single license number for x number of licenses. Check http://www.hp.com/servers/manage --> License Options for more information.

Unless this is a volume license, it is against the license agreement terms to use the same license on more than one iLO.
