I have taken over from someone who has lost the default passwords for 3 servers on our network. DL580G2 and DL360G3 is it possible using the server serial number to get the deafult passwords reissued.

I assume you mean ilo? Just open the servers up and using the top cover as a guide, set the security override on the system board and then go in and set your own passwords. Some older iLO f/w let you change passwords in F8 without a password as well.

Is there a switch on the systemboard? Please provide us some more info?
