Hello everyone,

We face this error: "Controller firmware revision 2.10.00 Embedded media initialization failed due to media write-verify test failure" in our iLO 4 ProLiant ML350p Gen8 Server. I tried a lot to solve it and I followed this link "Advisory: (Revision) HPE Integrated Lights-Out 4 (iLO 4) – How to Format the NAND Used to Store AHS logs, OneView Profiles, and Intelligent Provisioning" too, but still have the problem.

Would you please help me to solve it somehow ? I got a lot of suggestions to change the mainboard, but I do not want it. What if we ignore the error? Would it be a problem?

Thanks in advance

Hello,

If you ignore the error it can cause problems with the AHS log and other things that uses the NAND on the system board (AHS, Intelligent Provioning, etc.). The iLO is the controller for the NAND. As long as the iLO is running a newer version of the firmware (2.60 or later would be best), then the server should operate normally.

Regards

Do we have to change the mainboard? or any other suggestions? Thanks.
