I'm trying to set up an Sata array on a DL320. I can set up the array and it appears to be recognizied until I use the smarstart disk. It gives me "Boot controller size 0"--Primary controller configured in your system is not supported by this version of smart start". I've used versions 7.1 7.2 and 7.3. Am I doing something wrong or is this a true message?

Hi,
Don't know if this is still an issue, but here's a workaround. Download the SATA driver from http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/locate/69_6053.html and install the OS from the original CD (not SmartStart). Once Windows is installed put in the SmartStart CD and install the tools/utilities.

Jochen
