topic ML350 NEW ARRAY in ProLiant Deployment and Provisioning

I configured my array with raid 5 and I have three drives. Which isn't a problem. How ever when i run smartstart, I get an error about not having a boot device. I just want to make sure that it's not my array configuration. I need to make the logic drive active with an operating system, I believe...

Thanks in advance.
I assume you used the Online Configuration for Raid Arrays (ORCA) to build the array. Just do a system erase from the Smartstart CD, then configure the array in Smartstart and all should be well. If it's not giving you the option to run system erase, create the system erase diskette from the smartstart CD on another system.
