Using custom kickstart files to deploy Linux using Windows RDP3.10

Hi All,

I have set up a job to deploy RHAS3 Update 8 and I looked at the default.cfg file and I can see where I can edit things. So I created 10 custom Kickstart files for each server and I created 10 RDP custom jobs.

However when I went to edit the create boot env i did the following I changed all the values of .cfg to use my custom kickstart file.

This did not work since I was prompted to do the install instead of automatic. Do I just need it change the default.cfg name to the cfg file I want to use and leave the rest of the .cfg info alone?

I have attached a pic that shows the default values of the create boot env section.

It looks like I just needed to change the default.cfg to my custom kickstart file and the install is working ok. I left the other .cfg values alone.

Well it looks like this is not working. I am able to use the default.cfg file and it works fine. However when I tried to use a custom kickstart file it just stays at the copying PSP file over to the server. It looks like it does not copy and install the Altris Linux Agent when I am using my custom kickstart file.

Any ideas on what I am missing?
