    <description>i have hp 4x DDR Gen 2 infiniband switch,&lt;BR /&gt;can we use this switch for RHEL cluster without first configure it using openSM.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;anyway i have no idea what is actually to configure using openSM.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if someone ever configure this switch using openSM,please share some info&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thx</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello -&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P align="left"&gt;A subnet manager is required to manage and control an InfiniBand fabric.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P align="left"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P align="left"&gt;OpenSM is a host-based subnet manager that runs on a server connected to the InfiniBand fabric.
