    <description>&lt;P&gt;Posting the solution in the forum:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the iptables config file, the rule to reject all incoming packets had to be moved to after the rules for the&amp;nbsp;allowed ports required for CMU. Making this change and restarting the firewall resolved the issue.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>iptables blocking CMU URL</title>

      <description>I can not get my browser to get to the cmu management node unless I stop iptables.  Not sure what port I'm missing.  Have dest ports 80, 22, 1099, 49150 open per the install guide, and src pt 6000 (X11) open.  Mozilla can get to the main page but IE can not.  And, when Mozilla gets there the CMU GUI will not start.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;With iptables off everything works fine.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Dennis</description>
