CMU7.0 distribute issue for redhat5.8 on BL460c Gen8

when CMU 7.0 disctribute OS redhat 5.8 to CMU client:12x BL460c Gen8 , the client server got below errors

1. NO NFS server AVAILABLE,
2. UNABLE to mount root FSVIA NFS , Trying floppy
3. INSERT ROOT floppy and press enter

Action Taken:

1. checked nfs server service, it worked well.

2. check network connection btw client and CMU servr , it worked.

Hi zhanghi,

Did you facing this issue (UNABLE to mount root FSVIA NFS , Trying floppy) while netbooting the compute nodes?

Did your compute nodes has mellanox cards? what is the onboard nic type on your compute nodes?
