Hi,

We haven't used ISEE in awhile and we have lost the password for it. Just wondering what the best procedure to reset the password or find out what the password for ISEE is? It is installed on Windows Server 2003.

Thanks for the response.
I've already tried the default.

After looking through some of the config files I can see the account name that is in use I believe (not admin, one of our service accounts).

Any idea's?

Below are instructions for resetting the ISEE client UI login information.

---------------------------------------
-Open motprefs /opt/hpservices/etc/motprefs
-Find variable AGENT_AUTHSTR and delete it's value
-Find variable AGENT_PASSWD and change the current value of "xxxxxxxxxx" to the password you want (using plain text)
-Find variable AGENT_USER and change the current value to the username you want (using plain text)
-Save motprefs
-Stop/Start mad daemon or on Windows: stop/start the "HP ISEE" service.
-Note: the variable AGENT_USER does not exist until the default username/password of admin/isee is changed.
-Note: The restart of the daemon/service will replace the plain text value of AGENT_PASSWD with "xxxxxxxxxx", so performing this workaround will not leave plain text passwords sitting around on the system.
-Note: If AGENT_USER does not exist, it is perfectly acceptable to add an AGENT_USER key under [Global Settings].
