Hi,

Is there a document from HP that said the health check is every 600sec?

I need to proved to our security as well as management that it is the design of ISEE and not some kind of security compromisation from the server.

Hi,

Our security had sniffed that ISEE is generating traffic to HP web site every 10 mins from HP server.

- Where can I find the documentation from HP why it is generating the traffic every 10 mins?
- Is it tunable?
- Why can't it generating the traffic to HP only when necessary?

Thanks in advance.

You are correct ISEE Clients and the SPOP both perform a health check every 600 seconds to assure they can still connect to the HP Support Center's ISEE content server.

As I remember the value is tunable, but such tuning is NOT supported.

The health checks help to assure that the ISEE Client will be able to contact HP when a real hardware incident occurs.

Take care,

frank
