How can I restart the OSEM service without doing it manually? The OSEM is C:\WINDOWS\system32\CRSM5Invoker.exe (service name Open Service Event Manager) and from computer management and services you can select Open Service Event Manager and from properties Automatic on and from recovery tab you may select restart the service, but it doesn't work.
This has been tested.
Should it work by doing it that way? The key word in this case is Automatically restart the OSEM remote delivery.

By the way OSEM version is the latest and greatest 1.4.2 downloaded late March 2007.

When we get a Stalled status for an incident in OSEM, the remote deliver goes down. Is there any way to get it automatically up again?

Yes it creates email, but if there is no way to admistrate it remotely and the physical distance is more than 1 hour it is not enough.

How to restart automatically, i don't know. But when you put in Enabled Clients on OSEM the ip-adress or the DNS name of your workstation, you can open OSEM from your workstation and restart the service in OSEM himself.
Did you already tried an stop and start of the service.
