failed to initialize remote logging error in WebesV443 install

Hello,

Has anybody any ideas as to how to sort this error out ? I had been trying to install on a test server on a customer site and had cleared out the error log as I thought that might have been causing it but it is still coming up ? It was a few weeks ago and I have just come back from holiday and can't remember when, in the installation process I was getting this message so any help would be appreciated before I venture out again.

What is the O/S and version?

If this is Windows, then v4.4.3 is NOT SUPPORTED and you should be installing the latest version v5.0.

HI Sam,

Yes, I forgot to say that it is a Tru64 V5.1B unix server with patch kit 5 on it .
