How do I reset the service obligation number in WEBES?

Hello Kenny,

On all platforms, where WEBES runs, you can
- renew the lifecycle for another year
- replace the service obligation and the serial number
with the following command
DESTA SERVOB INSTALL

Gene,

You should only be extending the service obligation if this is on Tru64 and WEBES v4.4.3. This is the latest and last version of WEBES for Tru64.

For all other OS', if the WEBES obligation is expiring, this indicates that the customer most likely has an unsupported version of WEBES, and should upgrade to the latest version of WEBES to resolve the expiration.

Most likely they are 2+ versions behind.

After the install/upgrade is complete, the obligation starts that day, and will last for 1 year.

WEBES Engineering and Technical support will only support the latest version and 1-2 versions prior, depending on the circumstance.

The latest version of WEBES will always have the latest rule callouts and will have fixes for issues in prior versions.
