HP EVA 3000
SAN SEA running ISEE.

How can I turn off only the notifications to HP for our EVA?

I have turned the service off, but apparently that stops the notifications to my email address as well as the one to HP. Is there a way to only stop the notifications to HP?

Hi,

You can turn off ISEE either from Services (HP ISEE) or from DOS:
net stop/start hp_services.
This will stop ISEE notification to HP, but you would still getting email notification from SEA.

May I ask why would you want to do this? If you only want local notification, you can remove ISEE (from Add & Remove programs)

Thank you.

The unit is out of warranty and going to a LAB. HP requested we turn off the notificaitons so they do not service/pursue support in the future.

Hi,
Edit the file "NotifyCA.txt"
You should find this in the webes directory structure. By default, whatever account installed webes will be getting email reguardless of ISEE setting.
Just check out the file above and enter an email a/c that is relevent - should be OK then for what you want.
