Which application are you using? HP SIM does not have a dropdown list like you're describing.

Hi guys,

When trying to add a site to a device, I click the dropdown list in the device properties, however this displays the list of sites in order of when they were added, rather than alphabetically. Is there not a way (besides hacking the SQL database), to get this list of sites to appear alphabetically? Finding a site in our 80+ locations can be a bit of a hassle, when they're scattered in the list.

Thanks in advance...

Yes, HP SIM has a dropdown box.

go to a given system > Tools & Links > Edit System Properties and scroll down to Contract and Warranty Information

System Site Information has a drop down list that can be populated by user-created sites. This list of sites is what I want to sort within the dropdown list - I can sort it if I click Manage Sites, but the sort won't stick.
