Installing IRS on windows 2003 storage server

I was told that Insight Remote Support(IRS) will not work on windows 2003 storage server, can anyone confirm this?

I would not be surprised if this were true!

What are you using it for? Simple EVA Management Server?
I recommend that you wipe it and load a plain Windows Server 2003/2008 image.

Hi Zaov:
It is strue it does not work and not supported, at one of our customers we had to provide him win server 2008 for free so HP could reinstall IRS, we had to do commandview, Data Protector etc.

Go with Uwe recommendation of reinstalling, you will save a lot of time.
