topic disabling isee memory component in Insight Remote Support

I have a customer who is trying to disable the memory component to isee reporting. Their third party memory is kicking off errors every day and causing the response center to call them up a couple times a week and tell them to replace the memory. They are getting really annoyed. Is there a way to disable the individual memory error checking?

Hello,
yes, there is a way. Just remove the entries for the dm_memory from the /var/stm/config/tools/monitor/isee.sapcfg and restart EMS by starting /etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig and choose (e)nable.
the file isee.sapcfg contains the information where to send an EMS event that should be transfer according to the config rule for isee.
Hope that helps
Frauke
