Hello,

I have a customer who has installed HPSim and Remote Support on a Windows 2008 server and when he tries to access Remote Support in HPSim he gets the Internet Explorer error :Your browser do not support cookies - to access the system you must enable cookies on your browser.
When he connects on from his WinXP SP2 machine with IE8 he doesbn't have this problem and it works fine .

We have tried enabling cookies and making sure the security certificate is the right one on the Win2008 machine and still no good .

Has anybody seen this behaviour on a win 2008 box and do you know how to fix it ?

Thanks,

Karen

Hi Karen,

MSIE 2008 is currently not supported. You can see this with appearing error messages in the various popups for example.
All possible access methods in MSIE on the CMS have to be opend to/from the CMS, like entires in Trusted sites. And in Proxy Settings under Exceptions you may enter also the name and full qualified name of the CMS, if you're using proxies.

Regards, Werner
