    <description>Hi all,&lt;BR /&gt;I was trying to configure spop server. while spop initilization after giving host name and ip address (in fact it istaking automatically ) it says DNS suffix is invalid, and its exits from there.Wins is a must for SPOP??  Any suggetions will be highly appreciable.&lt;BR /&gt;  Raneesh Vijayan&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hello,&lt;BR /&gt;did you set the dns suffix? Verify it with "ipconfig /all". The field "Primary DNS Suffix" should contain a valid suffix. This is needed for the SPOP installation as discribed in the "SPOP Configuration and Upgrade Guide":&lt;BR /&gt;1) Right-click the HP ISEE SPOP icon and select Properties.&lt;BR /&gt;2) Select Network Identification and click [Properties].&lt;BR /&gt;3) Click [More], enter the DNS Suffix, and click [OK].&lt;BR /&gt;4) Accept changes as you exit the Network Identification Properties, and the&lt;BR /&gt;reboot request by clicking [Yes] at each window. This results in a system reboot.&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Frauke&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
