No joy with that, so I'm now looking to perform a manual uninstall of RSS and try a reinstall. I launched the uninstall from the HP program menu and clicked yes to request a full uninstall. Restarted the box, and ADD Remove Programs still shows the HP Remote Support Software as installed.
