The ESX Servers should be in the entitlement list. But perhaps you do not have the latest eligible system list. For the 80 of 170 server issue you should contact HP support.
This is one frustrating issue with WEBES 6.1 and HPSIM 6.2. WEBES no longer receives any of the snmp traps. HPSIM shows them but WEBES does not. It also does not show all of our servers that we have in HPSIM. It shows us 80 out of 170 physical servers. Even though HPSIM shows the systems as under a maintenance contract, WEBES does not. If you try to add one of the servers manually you will get The wege cannot be found, HTTP 404 from The System Even Analyzer. Now we have done a complete uninstall, and reinstall, and I am still unalbe to get the issue resolved. Is anyone else having this issue?

One thing else I notice is that in the Remote Support Configuration and Services, not one of my ESX servers are listed although they are listed in HPSIM.

What can you see in the WEBES.nn Log files?

In our environment I saw that firewall setting is essential. SNMP service connection error are visible in the event log.
Try first some test traps from the SIM Server with Webes. I noticed that some traps are not passed from a system W2008 to the receiver because the IP6 to IP4 mapping did not work. You set the network controller protocols but don't forget to remove the DNS entries for IPv6 address.

Hope this helps.

I can answer one of the repsonses not, and will look at the webes log files to see what they say. Upon more research I found that in the Operating System Description for the system properties it is expecing white space after the VMware ESX or you can put Server after it. I did this resynced RSE and bingo the server shows up. A huge waste of my time to try to figure this out. But this does not correct the issues with WEBES not reporting traps to HP. That is still does not do, and will be looking at the log to determine if I can find out anything.

How are you testing WEBES link to HP?
It doesn't send SNMP Traps to HP, it uses a component called ISEE.
You might want tio try using the command:
wsea test
That should generate a test event, it should be picked up in HPSIM and it should generate a test message right the way through to HP.
You should be able to see the status of the call change as well.
If that doesn't work then it indicates the isee component is broken.
Just a other hint did you configure email notification inside WEBES / SEA gui?
If you did you should get emails if the configuration has some problems after a HW incident was found.
