Hi guys,
Just wondering if predictive drive faiure SNMP traps sent from proliant servers should generate an auto-support call via WEBES. I have some servers running v 8.60 of the snmo insight management agents generating these traps but WEBES ignores them. Is this as expected?

Do You have SN, PN and contract data available for that server ? Run Contract and warranty data collection tool for the server.

Yes, all information is populated. In fact,i've logged a call with HP, and they inform me (from looking at the logs) that the jvm thread that parses the data from this particular SNMP trap is crashing hence the trap is never processed by webes.

I'll keep this thread updated with information as i get it in case anyone else is having the same problem.
